FOOD: Pork chops--the other white meat!
SHOW: All time...love "The Closer" and "The Good Wife"
MOVIE: "All That Jazz" and "The Godfather"
SPORT: Baseball, for its inherent beauty and perfection!
SONG: I'm a pop music guy and the stuff we play on Star works just fine for me!
CONCERT: The best? Billy Ocean at The Starlight a few years back. I never saw a performer command an audience like that and the audience just ate it up! I left exhausted!
HOLIDAY: Christmas......always gets me misty when I think of my 2 girls being small and the development "Santa" came to the house and their wide eyes....I'm getting misty-eyed now thinking about it!
BEST THING ABOUT LIVING IN THE SARATOGA CAPITAL REGION: The diversity of the local restaurant scene...yeah, we got the chains but we also have the neighborhood places that truly make each community so VERY different...My wife and I love searching for good ones--from Caribbean to Italian!.

Graduated from the New School of Radio and Television in 2007. I'm at the starting point of my career in broadcasting and loving every minute of it..I am getting soooo much experience I am not sure where to put it all..I was born and raised in Amsterdam, NY...I grew up with a great family two great parents, three older brothers the only girl and the youngest. I'm sure you can only imagine what I went through...Growing up in Amsterdam I was apart of the Amsterdam Marching Band..I played the flute..Greatest thing I ever did..Got to experience some amazing things.

CONCERT: Bon Jovi....first ever and the most memorable to me.
EMBARASSING MOMENT: Oh dear! there are so many..I would have to stay I was on a date and I wanted a coffee so we went to Starbucks and sure enough I go to take a step up to the sidewalk and ohhh yea completely took a header in front of everyone in Starbucks because I fell right in front of the window..I took it like a champ though..Got up just as fast as I went down and said...thank you ladies and gentlemen I'll be right back if anyone wants an autograph for that stunt....yup way to be graceful.
HOLIDAY : Halloween...I guess it would be because of the Autumn like weather.
BEST THING ABOUT GROWING UP IN THE SARATOGA CAPITAL REGION: Wishing that I grew up in the Saratoga Capital Region...I really do love it up here..My friends and I are always coming up to this area...Don't get me wrong I like Amsterdam...But Saratoga is a whole new world.

John began his full-time radio career in 1985 after graduating from Ithaca College with a degree in communications.
Most of his work has centered around Saratoga Springs, his hometown.
He has been involved with many community organizations over the years including the Jaycees, Lions Clubs, Boy Scouts and was a co-founder of the Saratoga County division of Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

At Ithaca College, annoucing a football game...
the sports fan in me came out and shouted at a player to get away from the ball on a punt return for fear of a turnover...
He did get away from it when he heard my cry over the speakers. The rest of the crowd did as well.
