| 05-30-08 | In honor of our one year anniversary, The Girl Scouts of Northeaster New York has planned a large-scale project during May 30-June 1, 2008 entitled “Mission Possible.” This weekend-long celebration will be a gift of service to the many communities that make up Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York, where our 16,000+ girl members and adult volunteers will collaborate with local businesses and volunteers to positively impact their community. They were encouraged to plan projects for Operation CAN Do (to benefit local food shelves), Operation Literacy (to promote literacy in the community), or Operation Impact of Choice (to meet a specific need that the girls discover by assessing their community).
